About
Jascha Dlugatch
Set Medic to the Entertainment Industry
My name is Jascha Dlugatch and I am a Set Medic. I have become a key asset in the entertainment industry due to my 911 emergency response experience. The entertainment industry relies on me to provide preventive and responsive emergency services. Set personnel can perform their duties with peace of mind knowing that trained, certified, and compassionate medical support is nearby and ready to respond at a moments notice.

Witnessing the diligent efforts of first responders who responded to a family member’s health emergency kindled a desire in me to help people at an early age. This led me to pursue and successfully complete the requirements for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Since then, I’ve advanced from a non-emergency ambulance transporter to a critical care services subject-matter expert.

One of the most memorable experiences early in my career was working alongside Los Angeles County first responders (LACoFD, LASD, CHP) and other emergency personnel. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with these modern-day heroes on a regular basis had a huge impact on my work ethic and future aspirations. The experience also equipped me with valuable 911 acute care skills.

Working with first responders inspired me to join the Disaster Response Team, DRT for short. This disaster deployment team was created and maintained by American Medical Response (AMR) and contracted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Working for American Medical Response (AMR) in the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys, I gained the bulk of my practical EMT experience working with this hard-working group of emergency professionals. On a regular basis, we responded to 911 calls that required a wide range of emergency care knowledge, quick response time, teamwork, and compassion.

My work in the entertainment industry is interesting and with the fast pace, often challenging. I keep an eagle eye on set participants and the surrounding area to maintain a safe environment. Any emergency equipment, first aid supplies, or medical incidentals are always on hand. My goal is simple. Offer a mix of professional skills and humanness with a great attitude.

If you’re interested in hiring a Set Medic, you don’t have to look any further. I provide a quality service that you can count on to keep your cast and crew safe. With me on the set, you are in great hands.
